    my personal theory is,
we do not need to import it.
i believe that the virus is mutating along a particular route,
and that will will eventually come up with our own so-called home-grown delta variant.
but this is just my personal theory.

Had my 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine already. I initially planned to hold out in getting vaxxed and just be an observer on the sidelines. Kaya lang masyadong paranoid na rin mga kamag-anak ko especially may mga bata na hindi pa or matatagalan pa mabakunahan. Kaya when presented with the chance on a non-China vaccine I have no other choice but to grab it. After getting fully vaccinated, andun pa rin ang agam-agam though it has turned to what will be their long term effects on our bodies and the environment.

My anxiety is borne by the fact na napakarami nang lumabas na gamot, pagkain or commodities (e.g. cosmetics) na FDA approved after a loooong research and testing period na dumaan talaga sa prescribed processes. And then, ultimately after years has passed maba-ban din due to newly discovered side effects detrimental to people's health. Eh etong mga vaccines na ito were developed in just a span of a year or so. Kaya nga pag may namatay or may adverse reaction di kaagad matukoy kung vaccine related ba siya or not. Kahit ang mga eksperto di rin magkasundo-sundo ng opinyon.

The video was created few months earlier before sinovac/sinopharm was approved by WHO

Interesting explainer video from Vox. Sinovac is notably absent from their list though.

US officials flag "small" reaction risk with J&J vaccine

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in a statement it has received reports of 100 people who got the shot developing Guillain-Barré syndrome, an immune system disorder that can cause muscle weakness and occasionally paralysis.

That number represents a tiny fraction of the nearly 13 million Americans who have received the one-dose vaccine. Most cases of the side effect were reported in men — many 50 years old and up — and usually about two weeks after vaccination.

The government said the vaccines most used in the U.S., made by Pfizer and Moderna, show no risk of the disorder after more than 320 million doses have been administered.

Guillain-Barre syndrome occurs when the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks some of its nerve cells, causing muscle weakness and sometimes paralysis that typically is temporary. An estimated 3,000 to 6,000 people develop the syndrome each year, according to the CDC.

Guillain-Barre can be triggered by a number of infections, including flu, cytomegalovirus and Zika virus. But there have been rare cases in which people develop the disorder days or weeks after receiving certain vaccines.

Not surprising especially with less restrictions.

Even vaccinated persons will get covid but most likely asymptomatic or with mild symptoms - but wont die.

So sabi nga ng madami dito, it will be similar to flu later on in terms of morbidity and fatality rates.

if the swabbing doesn't stop this pandemic is never gonna end

it will be 2030 and we're still gonna get daily reports of "cases"

there's no other respiratory infection in history where swab/PCR is used as a diagnostic tool (and gold standard at that)

    ito ang first

normal lang naman nagkaka-virus sa ilong/lalamunan ng tao

    entry point yan eh

if you make PCR test kits for other respiratory viruses sigurado magpopositive tayo lahat

the whole point of vaccines is to turn covid into a less deadly disease so the world can return to normal

kaya pag halos wala na namamatay sa covid dapat itigil na nila ung pag swab

    panakot lang yan eh

    -

we don't count cases of rhinovirus or adenovirus or RSV or parainfluenza or other coronavirus infections

one day we should stop counting sarscov2 infections
