barkada ko 4 lalaki anak CS lahat...
i have to say that while it is possible to perform a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) following TWO previous C-sections, the risks are so great that mahihirapan kang makahanap ng OB na gagawa nito. note that this has nothing to do with bravado on the part of the OB or of professional fees, rather the concern is with the mother and child's safety. disclaimer lang, i've seen it done, but there are only certain indications for a vaginal birth after TWO previous CS.Originally Posted by yebo
last comment with regads to duration of labor: i'm not familiar with the tsikoteers in this forum and whether the poster is female or male pero if you are female and has a chance to get pregnant and undergo labor, 10 hours of labor is nothing to scoff at. in a study done to try to quantitate the pain of labor, it was found out that labor pain closely approximates the pain from having your leg cut off below the knee (without anesthesia). try that for 10 hours. needless to say, the hormonal and metabolic reactions that ensue following the pain experience places tremendous stress on both the mother and the baby.
.. in a scale of 1-10 .. 10 being the highest sa pain level .. childbirth rates a 10 .. yung nangyari raw kay John Rambo sa Vietnam only rates an 8 .. i forget kung saan ko nabasa or narinig ito ..![]()
galing nyo tlga!
Pero the point is, pwede. Ni research ko na rin yun (VBAC). Nga pala, ito magandang site for more info... http//www.babycenter.com, useful for mga what to expect stuff. Saka mga suggestions na rin on lots of things.
hi. clarification lang: the classical incision na patayo refers to the incision on the uterus and not on the skin. so kahit patayo ang incision sa skin kung transverse (or horizontal) naman sa uterus, pwede pa din mag-VBAC. ang kinakatakot mag-rupture is the scar on the uterus kasi catastrophic ito sa welfare ng mom and doubly so sa baby. however, it should be pointed out that there is always the possibility that low transverse segment uterine scars may rupture under VBAC.Originally Posted by AnuVaYan
yup. tama po yan. kaya nga since malayo ang hospital sa amin, we opted to have a cs delivery, kasi although mas maliit ang possibility kaysa classical incision, pwede pa rin mag rupture. mahirap na.Originally Posted by smooth

Whether your succeeding children will be CS'd, depends on the indication for the initial CS.
CS is not really a terrible thing. Straight to the table. If you need a really good OB-GYNE, I would be happy to recommend one for you.

hi cleave. you're right pero i just have to clarify one point: pwedeng mag-pa-anesthesia ang normal delivery. this is what is referred to as "painless labor and delivery" or what is called "epidural anesthesia." it is very similar to spinal anesthesia. its very safe and the mothers are very comfortable during labor and delivery.Originally Posted by cleave
see a recommended and kilalang OB, pag CS yung una, the 2nd might be delivered normal with excepetion, consult your OB so he or she could explain further details
usually cs na rin ang mga susunod na deliveries... as what doc otep had said, may mabilis ang delivery ni misis at walang hirap sa delivery. one thing lang to consider, medyo matagal ang healing process nung incision plus you have to take care of not only the child but also your wife after cs kasi nga fresh pa yung surgical wound nya. dun ngayon lalabas ang pagka-ama at pagiging asawa mo. in my own experience, ganyan ang nangyari samin ni misis with our two children... kagandahan lang, both of us are nurses so we could already anticipate the things that we are supposed to do even dun sa first child namin.

MAY ANAK KA NA PA!! KAY KA SIGURO NAISSUEhan NA W OF ARREST......joke!!!!!
