Will not happen. They only filed case because they realized they been had by one opposing player, beaten up several of their players right in their bench and they did nothing.

Napahiya lang sila kaya ngayon mag sue na sila. Basketball brawl should never be fought in different court. They should just left it inside the basketball court. Eh na shocked silang lahat.

Mag demanda? For what? Dahil natakot at lampa mga players nila?

Ask anybody who played team sports, particularly basketball if they will allow an opposing player to charge their bench and beat up their teammates in front of them.

I understand people who don’t agree with me because they probably didn’t played team sports and didn’t experience the dynamics, camaraderie among teammates.

For me there is no way I will allow an opponent to beat up my teammate in front of me and in our bench.

the "eye for an eye" doctrine, or its variants,
usually leave everybody involved at least half-blind,
    literally or figuratively.

It’s not eye for an eye. It’s just the “basketball rule” you don’t cross the line and attack opposing player in their bench. Actually not a rule but common sense.

If you didn’t play team sports you wouldn’t understand.

Again, just ask anybody who played basketball kung ano gagawin nila if the opposing player went after their teammate in their bench.

Yeah I agree. Iba na generation din ngayon. Like before, talagang mortal enemies ang Atneista & La Sallista lalo na players from both schools. Nag mellow na nowadays. Maybe because nga of social media plus I think nabawasan throught the years yung angas sinmula nung naging coed na. I heard rumble stories during the 70s & 80s. Kaya nga nag alisan sa NCAA e.

One of the factors that may have lessened the heat in the Ateneo-La Salle rivalry is the fact that it took some time before DLSU was accepted into the UAAP. Nung umalis ang Ateneo, they were immediately taken in by the UAAP, as for La Salle's situation the UAAP after seeing the massive brawl between La Salle and Letran and learning about La Salle's withdrawal adamantly voted against La Salle's entry. It took about 6 years before the Board members changed their mind and accepted La Salle's application. Kakatawa nga tingan after every Blue-Green game naghahalo yung dalawa outside the coliseum in contrast to 40+ years ago which would have merited people from both sides bashing each other literally.

Oh didn’t know that La Salle was initially turned down by the UAAP.

Haha yeah after every game you’d see at restos ma afterwards blue & green shorts sharing a table hehe. Which is for the better I guess. You can cheer & support your school during the game, & when it’s over, back to reality.

Maybe the Belide players were caught off guard. Maybe they were taught that violence is not the answer. Maybe they’re softies because they’re rich kids. Maybe the whole team should have retaliated & then sugod mga players from JRU then full blown melee & we’ll all be entertained hehe.

Moving forward, this would NCAA & UAAP would probably step up security & remond schools, coached , & players, that such things are not needed in the court. Off court, pwede naman sa parking lot hehe.

Another reason why La Salle supporters particularly the students were well behaved during games was the presence of a well known figure during the games named Jacinto Pascual, a.k.a. "Mang Jack",(God rest his soul) the most senior of the discipline officers of La Salle who had the "father figure". Hindi ka talaga gagawa ng kalokohan sa venue if you see him, that's how much respect he has from the community. And besides after the games and college life, most blues and greens end up as co-workers.

Social media age or not, in basketball it is still true to this day that you just don’t allow your teammate na masuntok sa harapan ninyo.

Sinugod na kasama mo at na-KO na, maisip mo pa ba kung makuhanan ka, eh NCAA yan televised so lahat ng galaw mo either way makukunan ng video.

    Another Amores incident.

Watch how the whole Letran team came together.

Thou di naman si Amores nagstart ng near brawl.

Factor din yun bonding ng team.
