check out Hahn Manila, PB Dionisio (along Roces Ave.), and Ultra Systems (5th level SM Megamall), they have good selections of airguns to choose from. am not sure about the licensing requirements though.

more on pest control! ive seen rats as big as cats sa amin eh. its time to do some actions na! kaya i want more firing power.

for pest control, i 'd suggest a CO2 powered air rifle in .22 cal.

at least with the CO2, you can get a quick follow-up shot if you were able to hit the rat but not kill it with the first shot. kung pneumatic kasi, under stress ka na after the first shot kaya baka mataranta ka sa pag-pump for a followup shot.

mas gusto ko yung .22 imbes na .177 for pest control kasi mas mabigat yung pellet ng kaunti at mas malaki yung diameter. i've tried shooting rats with a .177 pneumatic and believe me, if you don't get a head shot or penetrate deep enough to hit a vital organ, tatawanan ka lang ng daga :dead:

    YMMV.

dagdag ko lang po sa sinabi ni sir mikey177...

the choice of ammunition could also be helpful....ang pagkaka-alam ko 3 type yun e (flat, rounded, at pointed).

plus also try considering compressed air rifles/pistols against CO2. AFAIK mas consistent ang compressed air kse hindi cya masyado affected ng temperature against the CO2 guns... not sure though, pa confirm na lang :D

dieselNuBI, yes ito yung short handle with extension.

    4K only?
mukhang ok since this is way cheaper than crosman or rogunz. pero CO2 fed na sya.

dieselNUBI::: dude, mura talaga mga locally-made airguns like Armscor and Alloy compared to foreign brands, pero kung velocity and penetration ang pag-uusapan, maganda yung performance nila kasi CO2 yung powerplant nila.

logbook::: yup, mas consistent yung performance ng compressed air airguns vs. CO2 airguns, lalo na pag malaki yung variance sa temperature sa environment mo, pero like the guy said, di naman nya gagamitin sa compet kaya ok na rin yung CO2 for his intended purpose. Tsaka masakit sa bulsa yung mga compressed air airguns like Feinwerkbau diba? If you choose CO2, just make sure you have a full charge before you go mouse hunting

anyway, regarding scale airguns (battery operated, na may pellets) my friends hava a team and attend jamborees at subic and coregidor. war games ito that last the whole night. sinasali nga ako pero nung sinabi nila presyo ng baril e parang totoong baril na rin binili mo (mga half the price naman). tried the m4 of my friend and its 1:1 scale na rin. mukhang totoo pero magaang lang siya & its accurate too (dont know lang up to ilang meters naka-zero yun).
