Agree bro. But they do have cap space to spare. If they do decide to get someone substantial, he has to be able to play off the ball. Simmons is so ball dominant like LBJ.

Klay Thompson is top of mind for me when it comes to off-ball play. He always finds a way to free himself up for a catch and shoot. There was one game I was just watching him run around while Curry or Green were playmaking, nakakapagod rin. [emoji23]

Yeah he is pretty good off the ball bro. Ang sipag gumamit ng multiple screens. And pretty good at the defensive end as well. Would be interesting to see just how much other teams would offer him once he hits free agency in 2019.

Klay is not in the same league as Pippen. If Klay was playing in the 90s, he will have a hard time scoring.

Yes, but I'm only comparing his role to pippen in bulls second lang kay MJ. Nun lumipat siya hinde naman niya rin kayang mag Carry ng team

When Jordan left for his first retirement, Pippen carried the Bulls for those two years until Jordan came back. The Bulls still reached the playoffs even with a not so talented Bulls lineup (Horace Grant left them for the Magic and Toni Kukoc was still developing). Pippen was averaging some crazy stats during those time. Pippen left the Bulls primarily on a salary discussion. He was one of the most underpaid members of the championship Bulls team mainly because of him agreeing to a 10-year contract. Nobody expected a skinny kid from an unknown Central Arkansas college drafted in the second round to become one of the best small forwards to play the game. A 10-year contract seemed a good idea for a second round unknown pick. When he left Chicago for Houston and Portland, it was already at the twilight of his career.

Parang masagwa na icompare si klay kay korver. Hahaha! Madaming wala kay korver, dribble drive, shot variation, lock up D, post up play

Can we dare compare klay thompson's game to peak ray allen's or reggie miller?

^if thompson can do miller's 8-points-in-9-seconds-in-crunch-time explosion then i'd put him in the same exclusive league as reggie ( i think tracy mcgrady was the only player who has had that similar once-in-a-lifetime game) [emoji3]

Defensively, who's the better player ba between miller & klay?

I remember Reggie used to effectively irritate scoring juggernauts in his heyday so much so that miller would destroy the scorer's psyche. And his infamous trash talking
trashed the games of marquee players too by toying w/ their minds. And more importantly, defense during those days were at a way way different level pa.

I rarely watch nba games today unless the pistons or the kings are playing so i haven't really had the opportunity of watching klay strut his stuff

do what you gotta do so you can do what you wanna do

I will still take Reggie Miller, shooters are bunch a dozen now. Everybody can shoot threes. Kahit 7 footer nga tumitira na ng three pointer eh.

Plus Miller was the man in Indiana.

The thing with klay now is that we may never see his true potential as being the man. He scored 30++ points in one quarter right. So he can get hot anytime and is a good defender.

But yes, reggie is far more lethal. He used to go against mj and still score points. I think he is in the convo for one of the most clutch player ever to play.

Reggie Miller was clutch and he was tough despite his lanky frame. He was one of the best trash talkers in the NBA. Reggie thrived in an era of suffocating and physical defense. He get banged up, pushed down, screened hard yet he was able to score.

I would say that Klay is more like a better version of Jeff Hornacek.

Reggie & Judas were deadly crunch time assassins.

It is just such a shame that reggie and many 90's HOF dont have a ring coz of 1 guy.

There were a lot of 80s and 90s great players who didn't have a ring primarily for the reason of the likes of Magic, Bird, and MJ. Only a few like Dr. J, Isiah and Hakeem were able to sneak past these three in those years.

Reggie, Dominique, Barkley, Payton, Malone, Stockton, Ewing, Mullin, and Tim Hardaway are some really good players who didn't have a championship ring.

Reggie Miller and Ray Allen are basahan compared to Klay Thompson.

for me: Klay > Ray > Reggie
