GH's injury was a freak accident. There's no reason not to expect him to recover. Remember, even MJ broke his foot early in his NBA career and went on to win several rings. PG13 broke his leg with the bone sticking out of skin IIRC and he still made full recovery.

I was a big Sheed fan. Portland was a big powerhouse before. He and Garnett have that competitive mentality. They will get into your nerves and pound you if you're weak.

On a different note, I saw Karl Anthony Towns play earlier and he was pure hustle. He reached out to block the lane, reach for every rebound, and play it tough to score.

There are 2 players I most admired from the Pistons (both already retired).

    Joe Dumars and Ben Wallace

True grit. No diva attitudes. All business.

That portland team is stacked with talent and bonehead players. Jailblazers.

Was rooting for that team together with the kings to take down the lakers.

Sad lang talaga. Siguro if he's currently active and playing for the team right now, the celtics would feel more of a force to be reckoned with. Kaya next season, siguro mas exciting tingnan, granting hindi magkakaroon ng season ending injury. Baka sila mag-top sa atlantic division next year and even the east if all goes well for them.

GSW vs SA and BOS vs MIL ang mga series to watch sa tingin ko in the 1st rd na may possibility na ma upset ang mga 2nd seed. Parehong may tulog kasi ang warriors at celtics eh because of injuries. Spurs has been playing without kawhi for some time na and tyak well adjusted na sila without him in the line up. With the on and off injury kay steph, medyo alalay tyak ang galaw niya pero favorite pa din ang warriors.

May nagsabi ba? Parang wala naman.
Early 2000's spurs has been better defensively kesa sa 04 pistons.

Jordan, pippen, and rodmans defense has been very good.

No dominant big during the big man era, no problemo.

Ito na yung time of the year na every pinoy has a NBA team. Pati girls nakikiinvolve na.

Pero ang natutuwa sa kantiyawan pag dalawa or more ang nba team ng isang tao. Unli-bakas ! ! ! ! !

Kaya effective marketing tool ang NBA. You can just bakas your hearts out.

Eto oh. Nagbackread kasi ako tapos nakita ko reply ni kkreuk at ito sinabi niya hehe. And not necessarily i meant that the '04 pistons are the best team in defense sa nba pero they were able to hold on their own vs. the lakers that time and eventually trumped them when fans least expected it.

walang makakatalo sa badboys defense nila rodman, dumars, laimbeer, and mahorn led defense ng pistons. in fact, ang daming rule changes ginawa ni stern dahil sa kanila

sa sobrang intimidating ni laimbeer sa D, may nagka acl (si breuer ata iyon ng bucks) tear dahil minadali niya tapak niya nung marinig niya na nasa likod niya na si bill during a fastbreak. that's how detroit terrorized the league before. and they have back-to-back championships as a result of their take no prisoners style of defense

    Couldn't agree more.

They really, literally, change whole sections of rules just to minimize Detroit's suffocating D.

Reminds me of rule changes specially made for kareem, wilt and shaq. Truly the game changers.

Going back to the bad boys. I still believe true competitive spirit cannot be had if friendly friendly ang atmosphere. It somehow held you back to reaching true dominance mentality eh. But that is just me though. Hehe
