Kristaps Porzingis - I hope people of New York remember that it was Phil Jackson who drafted him. And New Yorkers were booing the choice that time.

I think Phil just wanted to show KP that nobody's indispensable and he should have respected team policy regarding exit interview. Though I doubt it very much that the Knicks will trade him.

There was a 5 team MEGA deal in place that would've sent both Melo & PG13 to the Cavs, but it fell through because no one wanted Kevin Love.

I have not read any comment that sides with Phil Jackson on this one.
Because everyone knows how dysfunctional the Knicks organization is, people kinda understand why Porzingis did it.

And Jackson still insisting on his triangle offense? WTF?

Congrats to Russ for the MVP award. DGreen imho is overrated as a defender but kudos for taking the award this time. Coach Mike D'antoni also won and good for The greek freak and Brogdon for their respective awards.

The Cavs want PG. But nobody wants KLove.

Maybe the Celtics can make a better offer. PG is good for those who wants to improve their chances against GSW this year.

Ang bilis humina ni klove. When he was in Minnesota. He was unstoppable. Now he's a 5th option.

I think he's still a good player bro. It's just that the small ball style of play doesn't suit him. And GSW happens to dominate the NBA with that style of play.

On a different team I bet he can still lead the team in scoring.

Sadly I think they still have to move him to have a chance. But even if they get PG13 they'll still need 1 or 2 more 2 way players. Shumpert isn't useful on the offensive end and Smith could improve on defense.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, Knicks owner James Dolan is debating whether or not to fire President of Basketball Operation Phil Jackson.

No final decision has been made as of Tuesday night, but it sounds like he's as good as gone and could be fired on Wednesday morning. Wojnarowski adds that Dolan "has become increasingly concerned about Jackson’s fitness for the job and the long-term prospects of success for the franchise." It's hardly a surprise after Jackson all but told Carmelo Anthony he wants him to leave New York, but the situation hit an all-time low when Jackson made Kristaps Porzingis, a 21-year-old franchise cornerstone, available in trade talks. Jackson has two years and $24 million left on his deal, so Dolan will have to reach into his pockets to pay him off.

CP3 traded to Houston for Patrick Beverley, Sam Dekker, Lou Williams and a 2018 first-round pick.

So Iniwan din ni paul si deandre pagkatapos niya habulin at i-hostage iyong sentro 2 seasons ago para mag stay as a clipper. Ang irony, paul and the gang appealed to jordan's sense of loyalty to the team 😄

Even one of paul's cohorts, griffin, is reportedly shopping around for a new team

CP3 to HOU is useless imho. James Harden is good enough for PG position. They need better wing defenders. Wala din yan, hindi pa din yan mag-champion.

Phil jackson and the knicks have agreed to severe ties amicably.

I wonder how this will affect the ageing melo's future in new york
