More like they need to shorten the season. But owners will be against that since there will be less income.

Pops was notorious for the dnp rest but that's because he wanted to preserve them deep in the playoffs.
I think kerr also did that last year when he rested all his stars against the spurs.

Another way is, shorten the pre-season. Pati summer league. And maybe extend the season for another month? Para walang back to back games

Wala naman vets sa summer league so why shorten it?
Reduce back to back games by reducing the number of games.
Extending the season? That will shorten the off season of players so it'll be blocked by the players.

Maganda summer league dahil yung mga hindi nakakalaro during the regular season, dun sila nababad.
The back to back games are the ones killing the players. Jet lag palang talo na, what more kung may practice session pa sila hours before the game.

Either shorten the season or remove back to back sets. Less injury and fatigue to players, more money as well through gate attendance.

kaya nga inagahan ang opening ng NBA this season para mabawasan ang back-to-back sets.

yung Summer League, ang mga naglalaro doon ay rookies (yung mga kinuha sa Draft the month earlier, undrafted rookies, and even trying out for a spot in the NBA).

anytime from now is start na ng Training Camp, then pre-season (well, may purpose din ang pre-season especially those who are trying out for spots for each team, and minimal lang ang playing time ng mga kilalang players).

a bit OT lang, nagtataka nga ako kung bakit ang daming laro ng baseball games (160+ games yata, correct me if I'm wrong) and yet hindi sila napapagod?

I think, yung schedule ng NBA this season is OK na. no need to lessen the games, and end the season in June.

Could be. George said he wants to be mvp..therefore he wants more shots. Melo needs shots as well as he is the best shooter of the three. Russ will always going to be russ.

Okc could have this kind of big3 years ago if they decided to keep harden. But no, they panicked and decided ibaka was more important to them. Lols.

I think this is a reactive move just to let russ and george sign extensions with them.

I see them going to the conf finals again only to be slaughtered by the warriors chemitry.

Re: OKC trio, I would agree with the possible conflict that could arise from lack of touches...

On the other hand, I don't forget the "Olympic Melo." It's well chronicled that PG defers to teammates as well. So, I would not get surprised if they click from the very start
