i wrote national support hindi national sport. pero may punto ka din kasi nakikita ko ang volleyball magiging a close 2nd to bball pagdating sa popularity. in time baka nga ma-ungusan pa. ang totoo niyan as of now, sila lang ang sport na kaya nakaka-puno ng moa, araneta, at san juan arena. in fact, last year nakikipag-agawan na sila ng venue sa pba
well, sa under 23 tournament last month ang phl team nagkaroon na ng fil-jap player at hindi naman bumaba ang popularity ng vball dito sa atin. so it's safe to say she won't be the last especially may tsismis na may na-recruit na na 6'-5" fil-german sa uaap
Those divers should not have competed. Whoever sent them there should be in the Senate/Congressional inquiry[emoji3].
Valdez has done a lot to boost the popularity of Philippine vollyeball, and now even the upcoming stars are getting lots of attention.
Not even Daquis could do that during her time.
hanep iyong vietnam. it looks like they've established themselves as a true sporting nation in south east asia. i guess it just shows how true the local swimming official said a day or two ago, "if you don't invest, don't expect."
Congrats phl sinag!
The Thais has improved a lot. Di na pwedeng balewalain sila. Nahirapan ang phl, muntik pa masilat. Aside from that dagger 3pt shot by kiefer, props also to vosotros. Dami rin nya binitiwang tres.....
The amateurs beat the professionals
Great game Gilas Cadets!

Congrats Phl Sinag.
Yung Enguio ng Indonesia basketball team, may lahing pinoy pala. Tatay nya indonesian, mother nya pinay. & he played in the uaap & dleague before.
Kahihiyan yung divers.Whomever is their coach, he should have the delicadeza to resign, pati silang dalawa. Sila panira sa performance nang Phil team eh. Bwisit.

while the cover is always in basketball or volleyball, no one seem to care that our mens sepak takraw team reach the finals but lost to myanmar. its a national sport that no one seem to care. :sly:
enjoyed watching the football of thailand. bloody good. they deserve the gold.
if the trio of ortueste, escote, and huerte successfully pulled the rug under the superior myanmar team, we've had heard a whole lot of praises for their supreme efforts. it was just too bad that they seemed to have run out-of-steam after winning the first set in an exciting come-from-behind fashion. still, their cinderella run should serve as an inspiration
the thai football team's core was the one w/c took home last year's suzuki cup pendant (afaik) so i'm not surprised they dominated this year's sea games, much to the chagrin of the much ballyhooed young lions of singapore and the soon to be suspended indonesian football association. if you want exciting football, don't go to sleep early tonight and wait for the exciting qualifiers of our national team against the tough yemenis later on at midnight. patayan 'to panigurado![]()
