committed pa ba yun mg half breed ng azkals? eh mukhang meron silang mga existing contract sa Europe where they came from...
masyado nanaman na hype kasi ng Abias CBN eh... wala pang napapatunayan eh kung ifeature nila akala mo pang world cup na.

well on the brighter side, let's at least credit the azkals for bringing in a world class football team to play locally without having to pay thousands of dollars of appearance fees and then charge ridiculously high admission fees for the general public
nyahahahaha![]()
Ok na rin siguro na i hype para yung mga bata magkaron ng interes. Kung wala din naman coverage walang exposure. Kesa naman yung mga kabataan basketbol lang, boksing at bilyar ang nakikita lagi sa TV. Malay natin yung mga bata ngayon na nagkaka interes ang maging world cup champions natin in the future. Supportahan nalang natin kesa laitin.
^^ ^ i think a big chunk of the credit should go to dan palami. things began looking up for philippine football when he entered the scene in 2009 even though the pff was in such a disarray. i'm sure the local primo university players whom he initially tried to recruit during the infancy of his management days are regretting their decision not to join the ph team then.
btw, word is a zidane led football team will visit the philippines in a goodwill visit being arranged by the pff. and then there's also talk that the mvp group will also bring in the real madrid teams (football and basketball). not sure though if the stars of the real madrid fc will be coming along too. sobrang superstars na iyong mga iyon kasi kaya daming excess baggage iyong mga iyon panigurado![]()
i read a news item yesterday about the game bet. the azkals & nepal. tambak ang nepal, 4-0.
^ i was there last night and sad to say mga 3/4 lang ata ang tao probably because misunderstood ang term na friendly dito sa atin. people think it's merely an exhibition game thus making it non-bearing when in all actuality those friendlies are needed to bolster one's placing in the fifa rankings.
ang totoo niyan, medyo ok na din iyong nabawasan ang hype para hindi mataas ang expectations kasi masyadong unreal ang hangad ng tao para sa phi team. but, take note though, we're still relegated in the developing nations group but we are making heads turn. like last night, nepal is ranked 135th in the world and we are about 30 rungs down the ladder and yet we thrashed them pretty well.
i daresay with last night's roster, we had the strongest line-up ever w/ cagara, mulders, and lucena in the fold. wala pa si schrock niyan sa lagay na iyan
^ as (mis)fortune would have it, the dates of the past important tournaments the team joined did not fall under the fifa international match days wherein clubs are sort of compelled to release players when there is a national call-up. as terrible as it may sound, a lot of the azkals based in europe were just made plain unavailable by their employers.
now, since the nepal-phi friendly was scheduled with-in the aforementioned fifa calendar days of this year, most everyone from abroad were able to play in the rizal memorial stadium. it's just unfortunate that last tuesday evening's game would be the last one for the azkals this year even though next month, the under-23 team will be seeing action in the sea games.
Mas sikat na Rugby team kesa azkals ah. hehe j/k
