The draft picks are coming in:

    1. Oden (C) - Portland
    2. Durant (F) - Seattle
    3. Horford (F) - Atlanta
    4. Conley (G) - Memphis
    5. Green J. (F) - Boston (traded to Seattle together with D. West and Wally Szczerbiak for Ray Allen)
    6. Janlian Y. (F) - Milwaukee

    Mga fellow GM's, analysis naman.

The trade of the 5th pick (Jeff Green) to Seattle together with Delonte and Wally World seems to be a little steep for Ray Allen.

wow, lots of guts by Atlanta (or is it stupidity) picking Horford over Conley...i guess they are admitting that high pick of Shelden Williams last year was a mistake (it was).

if Acie Law is a bust (big risk, considering he's small and can't shoot too well)...then i guess they're back to Speedy Claxton (ugh) or an out-of-position Joe Johnson back at the point.

my boy Jeff Green got picked higher than expected...and what a shocker with Ray Allen going to beantown :shocked2:

ssaloon, afaik - the Sonics is only one of the few teams who have the ability to offer Shard a max contract. with Ray Allen already traded, they need a veteran who can pull the team together.

as expected, the Bulls takes Joakim Noah.

I am not so hot about Yi though... seems like another Stromile Swift in the making. hope he proves me wrong.

Conley to Mem? good for 'em.... Might Mouse would be a good mentor for him.

    I like Atlanta's Horford + Law pick...

bopols ang bulls. they already have all these guys who have energy, hustle, and defense....and not enough people who score.

why take another one? he's like Ben Wallace even down to the hair :hihihi:

I think Durant is the second coming of Scottie Pippen or even better. I dunno but I've got a good feeling with this kid. With regards to Odom, you can't go wrong with this pick, however, I still think he is the much improved versions of Erik Dampier and Antonio McDyess all in one. He can become a dominant player someday, but still, I think he lacks the winning attitude and basic basketball fundamentals that Durant have. His physical & athletic abilities though will carry him through just like Shaq did.
