What's the deal with Rommel's brother (Cesar Montano)? AFAIK isa lang naman yung punch na 'foul' na galing kay Wolfe. Hindi naman yun pro boxing kaya natural lang na may 1 or 2 punches na medyo off. Kahit nga sa pro boxing AFAIK they are allowed a couple of 'foul punches', may warning, then next may bawas na sa score.

Tsaka he was knocked down twice, TKO on the second knock-down. IMHO Rommel didn't stand a chance.

Rommel and co. knew all along that Wolfe outweighed him by 30+ pounds and yet he accepted the fight. Wolfe of course used his superior size and strength to break free and threw Montano around like a rag doll. Montano got caught with a short right that nearly knocked him out.

The following week, the Montano brothers were being interviewed on the Buzz. They said the usual loser crap like "idinaan lang sa laki, blah blah, blah." After their excuses, Rommel said that he will fight Wolfe in a rematch granting that Wolfe drains 30+ pounds. Hello, boxing in both amateur and professional levels have weight divisions to begin with. Why the hell didn't Cesar Montano, self-proclaimed amateur boxer, stop Rommel from going up against Wolfe in the very first place what with Wolfe's obvious size advantage? They must have thought "papogi lang' to, yakang-yaka."

the whole Celebrity Boxing Event was shown last night sa Solar Sports Channel. In all other matches before the Main event featuring Montano-Wolfe, medyo light ang atmosphere. Pa-kwela pa nga sina Bayani Agbayani. But in the main event nga, start pa lang parang gigil na yung dalawa. Looks more like a wrestling match.

kaya siguro tinanggap ni montano ang laban against wolfe e kasi it was supposed to be a "friendly" match.

sa napanuod ko kasi etong si wulfe e pinulupot nya ang ulo ni rommel gamit ang kaliwang braso (ala headlock) habang ang kanang kamay naman ginamit at pinokpok ng pinokpok ang bunbunan ni rommel(nakakahiya tignan para kay rommel).
siguro foul to sa boxing world pero nandyan naman un ref para umawat. pero mga 3 times naman ata inulit ulit ni wolfe un headlock strategy nya.
in the end naka solid na punch ulet si wolfe kaya bumagsak si rommel. the ref quickly stopped the fight even though rommel wanted to continue.

maybe the ref by that time sensed na nagkakapikunan na kaya hininto narin ang laban. and proclaimed wolfe as the winner.

etong masaklap. binati ni wolfe si rommel, gave him a hug which wolfe was hug back also. when he approached the montano's corner, binati at kinamayan si cesar pero eto naman si cesar ay nag bitaw na ng mga salita. umuiwas nalang si wolfe pero cesar makulet at halatang napikon.

again from outside the ring nagkaroon ulet ng confrontation pero ang daming umaawat. may nag bato pa ng bottled water from cesar's side. kaya eto si wolfe e umatras ulet w/ 2 bodyguards at lumabas na ng arena.

huling remarks ni wolfe. sana sila naman daw ni cesar mag tuos sa ring.
