What do you mean by pinatulan? Hermes gave a statement?

I think very few models can be called investments. P100k is entry level model bags for designers. I find it so ridiculous how these designer brands keep on increasing their prices and always out of stock pa. I read somewhere that the luxury bubble is about to burst na nga. Pre internet those brands are already existing, now it's like a goal purchase even with the masses.

BTW si Sharon Cuneta, I don't get where her insecurity is coming from. She's been buying luxury bags and watches DECADES BEFORE these brands were household names and became aspirational items. I don't recall if I saw in old photos or videos but she's been wearing designer brands since the 80s when most people didn't care about designer brands.

if they were not uber-expensive, every other tomasa, ricarda or henrieta, could have afforded them!
their high price is part of the exclusivity design.

    like reloj de pulseras (wristwatches).
patek de felipe tells good time,
but GS quartz does it much much better, at small fraction of the price, and much easier availability.

But I have to buy first a storage cabinet for those luxury bags to store and preserve them because luxury bags just like an ordinary bag will wear down over time isn't it? Similar to a swiss watch you buy a limited edition piece but I'm not familiar with luxury bags so probably a limited edition would be a good investment provided you store it properly.

    i'm a pedestrian. a commoner.

i would, instead, put my money in special investment like pagibig mp2 or other similar programs.
no fungus, no rust, no maintenance cost, no gamble on final earning.

I don't believe it's exclusive anymore, the big difference from the 90s (and earlier) to now, these brands have become household names at pinagiipunan na, that's why I mentioned it became an aspirational brand.

IMO once a brand or anything becomes popular, no matter how high the price, it loses it's exclusivity, though that's just me.
