I have never seen doctors this motivated and invested in the outcome of an election. Why? Because we have seen firsthand and have paid dearly for the spectacular failure of Duterte’s government in handling the COVID19 pandemic.

Hindi namin makakalimutan how HCWs were left to devise their own PPEs, yung iba garbage bags, in desperate attempts to protect themselves.

Hindi namin makakalimutan how VIPs jumped the line in swab testing, vaccinations and hospital admissions.

Hindi namin makakalimutan how we were maligned and called names when we demanded that the government do more than just impose community quarantines.

Hindi namin makakalimutan ang mga kapwa namin doktor, nurse at iba pang frontliners na hindi na natin kasama ngayon.

Nakataga ito sa mga utak at puso namin.

Ang bawat isa sa sampung libong doktor na ito ay nakakaalala rin kung sino ang tunay na nagbigay ng suporta at makabuluhang tulong nitong nakaraang dalawang taon ng COVID19 pandemic. Handa kaming ibalik ang suportang ito ngayon.
