anybody using zpdee? konti lang nakita kong reviews sa net.
sobra na itong smart-broken, for about 3 weeks na mabagal at putol-putol ang connection, minsan totally wala, pag tinawag sa customer service all they can say is...sir paki monitor na lang, wala pong sira yung base station.
last night every 2 hours mawawala for about 30 mins then babalik. pero ganun pa din sagot ng smart agent. hay suko na ako sa smart. pag PLDT dsl naman, so far puro rekalmo din nababasa ko...
from the zpdee site. 999 petot ang 512kbps connection comes with:
a. 15% discount on your monthly Skycable Gold/SkyCable Silver bill
b. Free service fee
c. 2 Free additional IP addresses

i think zpdee is better than destiny cable internet.
yung business partner ko destiny cable internet ang gamit. intermettent ang connection.
if your area is covered by globe, then i would strongly recommend the globe wired broadband. 1.2 MBPS for 995/month. kung may kasamang landline its 1200/month.
never akong na shortchange sa connection. ang bilis pa ng response the technical support.

AFAIK
globe will not allow more customer on a given area just to maintain the bandwidth in that area. so you might also check with globe if your area can still accept users.
and as with my friends, the technical support of globe is top notch, they know what they are telling unlike pldt which is the usual spiel

August 29th, 2008 11:32 PM #5In our previous office, we used zpdee for about 3-4 years.
back then, it was home cable. i think it was merged with skycable.
during that time their service is ok. we did not experience any issue or problem with them. There are downtimes, but it is very rare. In our 3-4 years with them, downtime was probably less than 10 times.
our subscription was for 768kbps.
unfortunately, the new building where we transferred to does not have zpdee on the area.
