After just 8 months of use, the battery life now only lasts for less than 1.5hrs. I use wifi all the time. Does wifi consume that much power?

And this laptop emits so much heat.

Wi-fi: yes, it drains power especially if it is always turned on even if there is no hot-spot near. Shut it down when not in use.

Heat: bili ka na lang laptop cooler, boss.
