Fiber-optic...... Wow. For regular internet and online gaming use, it'd be hard to tell the difference between regular cable broadband and fiber-optic. But, I imagine when I'm downloading a Linux dvd iso, fiber-optic will really show its advantage.

It took me a little over 30 minutes to download the iso for the 2.5gb(?) 32-bit Vista Ultimate RC1 with regular cable broadband. With fiber-optic, I imagine it'll take 15-20 minutes. Shoot.
