Some of the computers in my home network cannot be seen/accessed by the network. All are in the same workgroup, file and printer sharing enabled, NetBios/IPX installed.

I always get the message: Windows cannot find the \\**** computer.

    Help!

Maybe the firewall is blocking traffic. Try to disable it first to check.

    HTH

Others may have better ideas hehe.

I can use internet with the computer, so I think the network connections service started already.

It's a sign to retire your netbios and ipx protocols. :D

TCP/IP is the way to go. Then configure your router as the DHCP server as well.

Found out the problem. The "allow users to connect remotely to this computer" was not checked
