Carrier, York, Panasonic, are okay. So far, yun pa lang nasubukan ko that I can recall. We used to have a Condura pero ang umingay after a year so we sold it.
There's LG and Samsung but I wouldn't bet the Samsung to last long. I'd bet the LG to be a top performer like their no-frost refrigerators (which we also have). No frost ref is practically an enclosed thermobox with an aircon inside. hehe
Uso na ngayon yung may mga bio filter. No idea if it actually works though.
BTW, you also need to check your insulation. No point in upgrading your aircon if your insulation is poor. Waste of money and effort.

I heard that Carrier and Condura have switched to another supplier of their compressor... Just ask around... Anyway, seldom do these units break....
