We have three access points that are spread out sa buong floor.
A user connects to a specific access point when he is in his working space.
Ang gusto ko mangyari, pag lumipat sya ng lugar, bibitaw yung connection nya sa default connection nya and connection nya would be transferred to the access point nearest his new location automatically. Pag bumalik sya sa workspace nya, babalik yung connection nya to the original access point.

Tanong-tanong lang. Users are connected via multiple devices (laptops, mobile phones, tablets). Laptops are on Mac and on Windows and tablets are on iOS and Android.

Do i still need to lower down the broadcast capacity of each AP? Hagip din kasi yung signal sa buong area maski saan ka magpunta.

Medyo naging clueless ako dito ah.

The WIFI devices (laptop, tablet, smartphone) will just automatically switch to the strongest listed WIFI signal once it's original signal has become weak and unstable. TO maximize WIFI network performance, just make sure the channel frequencies are not using the same number (usual default is 6 for most wifi router devices). Lowering the broadcast power would help to minimize interference. Interference will can cause wireless network slowdown. How much power to lower? Depends on the devices, some are sensitive while others need a very strong signal to connect well.

To minimize the need for many AP, place your AP high like the ceiling or upper part of a wall.
