Does anyone know which store or online seller gives the best prices for notebooks (Asus, Acer, Samsung, etc.)? TIA.

You can give VillMan Computers Philippines a look. Their prices are fair on the most part. Just watch out for old/obsolete models that are discounted to sell off old stock. There are other notebooks that are discounted but still can be "current" in specifications.

But ultrabooks come with ultrabook prices. The cheapest would be the Acer S3 with i3 cpu at P39K. The rest with i5 cpu start at 45K to 55K and up.

Cheapest Ultrabook would be the Samsung Series 5 at 39,500. Well, the Series 3 is 31,500 and it comes very close to ultrabook specs but the people at TipidPC don't like Samsung since too many warranty issues. It's like the Toyota D4D or Hyundai Accent in tsikot. Looking for a store or online seller that sells notebooks lower than market price. Not lookin for cheap units.

Anyway, prices at Villman prices are usually SRP. Silicon Valley and computer stores at Malls sometimes gives better cash discounts. Was thinking there's a place that sells really cheap notebooks that we don't know about. Something like Sight and Sounds for big screen LCD/LED TVs or Mayer in Quiapo for digital cameras.
