Had a canon all in one whose printhead clogged up after 2 years. The printhead needed to fix it cost 4.5k. With all that I've printed with it, I would have consumed the cost of a printhead the same amount in ink of an HP printer in 2 years.

If you print a lot, I think it is safe to get either canon or epson, otherwise, get an HP. With an HP, you get a new printhead builtin with every ink purchase. You can also have the HP refilled till the printhead on the ink cartidge lasts.

Have you tried feeding it long bond and just printing? I have printed several sheets of long bond with my DPC-215C. Although the contents were enough to fit in a short bond. I used long since it was all I had. I also did not bother changing the paper size on the software.

That's weird, hindi po pwede talaga ang Long? As in, Stated in the Manual na hindi pwede? first time ko ata makarinig ng ganyan... Mas payat kasi ang long and it only requires the printer to adjust the paper end.

epson - mura replacement ink and pag nasira printer, just buy a new one kasi nasulit mo naman na yung nasirang printer.

epson printer ranges from 2.5k to 3.5k

    Brother DCP-130C USB printer sir

Edit: i've discovered something last night. May adjuster pala sa loob ng paper tray to slide/extend the other end ng tray para magkasya ung long paper. tuloy ako ni wifey. sabi ko wala nmn sa manual eh

what is the best buy all in one printer ngayon? yung less than 5K. my wife uses HP desktop f380 sa office nila kaso bago pa lang kaya konti pa lang comment niya.

pang home use lang. at mas ok pag sira yung isang feature (scan or copy), pwede pa din mag print.

I won't recommend the multi-function printer (scan, fax, print at copy). We have two sa office HP and we were so disappointed kase, unlike our other HP printers na durable, within a year and a half sira na sya. Tapos, uber mahal pa ng parts. Then, pag-sira yung isang function, halos lahat nung functions eh di na rin gumagana.

For 5K, I'd say go for an Epson. Low purchase price, cheap ink refils and compared sa HP, cheap repair costs.

ok tnx! yun na nga din concern ko eh. baka madali masira kasi napansin ko nung kinabit ko yung printer ng misis, super gaan niya as in parang walng laman ang loob considering multi-funcion equipment siya. :D

nway, maybe i can do without the scan and copy function. print na lang muna.

We're currently using an EPSON CX4100 inkjet multi-function printer (print, scan, copy); we've had it for over a year. Use has been so trouble-free, I didn't realize that the warranty already lapsed months ago. Segregated yung cartridges, unlike on our previous printer (Lexmark).

The scanner feature has been especially helpful, for times when the wife is in the mood for some digital scrapbooking. And I find the copier feature handy for my car maintenance receipts. One thing I'd like to try sometime, though, is the PictBridge feature.

by 4 in 1 do you mean print, scan, copy and fax? Mukhang malakas kang magprint, baka mas ok sayo na magconvert to CIS. For CIS, Epson ang best bet.

For Brother, ok naman. The newer models, available ang cheap ink from CDR king. Cartridge LC57. P380 for a complete set. Eto yung link http://cdrking.com/local/products/in...049586-4200756

Meron ako dati all in 1 HP printer pero sinoli ko, kumuha ako ng all in 1 Epson printer.

For photo realistic prints go for Epson. Only downside it has 6 individual cartridges (but good for photo prints) it is costly to replace all those cartridges.

We have 3 HP All-In-One printers. 2 of them came free with the 2 Mac Minis we bought last year. All 3 are entry-level. But, they're satisfactory enough for casual printing.

For 4 x 6 photos, we have a Kodak dye-sub photo printer. Fantastic quality.

for me, if reliability is the issue, i won't go with epson.

I've had 3 epson printers in the past and they all broke within two years! The problem they say is that if you don't often use them, the print heads dry up and when this happens, it's better to buy a new one.

There was also a jamming issue with an epson printer i bought before. The paper got jammed and after I took out the paper, that's were the problem started. The printer kept on saying "paper jammed" when there wasn't even one.

After those incidents, switched to Canon and it has been with me for 4 years na! ayos pa din!

can't say anything bout HP though, haven't owned one yet...mahal daw kc un ink heheehe
