Rover is actually just a branded china CCTV but it's the most convenient. There are many other options but you need to research. Also check computer shops, they also have them.

You can search on openpinoy.
Kaya kahit brown out or pinutol kuryente nila e recording parin..

I think the people selling real CCTV equipment also sell decoys... Cheapest I bought was from Qube in Greenhills. HIKVision and Honeywell are good brands, I'm told.

Try getting ipcamera. Meron xiaomi ants camera. It costs only 1600-2000. It can record on an sdcard too. Masira man, ayos lang kasi mura

we have Rover 4 cam set up. get the HD cameras for better results.

there are stand alone cctv cameras that use sd cards, just like the dash cam for your car. mas maganda ito kesa sa dummy cameras.

im also using hikvision for home and office. using 16ch dvr + 16 IR cameras and 4x 2TB hdd (configured to raid 5). had it for about a year now. so far only had busted camera adaptor issue one time which was replaced under warranty.

was using dmax (korean brand) initially but had reliability issues. only use this now as redundancy system.

Anyone using a PT or PTZ outdoor Ethernet (wired or wireless) cameras that are truly exposed to the weather (sun, rain, wind)?

How well are they holding up? Any recommendations?

I plan to install one at our property facade, looking out on the street. It will be facing east so it's exposed to the sun from sunrise til around noon.

We are using those IP cameras in our place somewhere out there. Serving its purpose very well.

For 600 to 700 pesos per IP cam, very sulit. The good thing is you can install the app to your phone and view it live anywhere you are. You can also subscribe to them so you can review the videos, if the need arises.

We have 8 of them, working well for more than two years now.screenshot_20230226_104345_v380-20pro.jpgscreenshot_20230226_104035_v380-20pro.jpg

+1 sa v380 pro based ip cams for DIY setup.
stable connection nya kesa sa MiHome.
and yes mas mura mga v380 cams.

I'm also looking for CCTV solution.

The best solution is to remove the bell, it's irrelevant now. Internet call is the new doorbell.

Anyone who needs to use a doorbell will most probably sell you things or a solicitor.

Oops, there's online deliveries pala, well they just have to call you or shout at the top of their lungs [emoji13]

One other thing, assuming nga makikita mo na yung mga batang nangloloko sa monitor... what would you do?
