Nacurious lang ako. Ang dami parin kasing Windows XP fanboys around. Personally I dual-boot XP and Windows 7 but rarely use XP (I only need it because my ancient scanner doesn't have Vista drivers).

Though some benchmarks still point out that XP is still technically faster, and 7 is only about 10% faster than Vista on various benchmarks, I believe that Windows 7 feels a lot faster than either OS. Perhaps it's not a tangible and benchmark-able thing but I really don't see the point of going back to XP.

Of course if the hardware's old, no-brainer na yun to use XP.

Anyway, what do you guys think? and use?

Tried it on an Asus EEE 1000HE, works pretty fine. But still heck slow compared to a full sized laptop. Well kahit XP naman mabagal talaga netbook para sakin.

At the same time? Ang dami naman

I used to have dual boot xp and se7en. but after 7100 was released, been using it up to 7600. hindi na ako bumalik sa Xp. but Xp is still faster to me imo. the Win7 Oem 7600 is still buggy particulary on adobe photoshop and flash cs4. regarding skin and aero issues.

hindi ko pa na try yung windows7 retail though.

Just bought Windows 7 Family Pack the day after it was released. Installed on an HP laptop (Vista) and Asus netbook (XP). So far didn't have any problems and personally I like it. This weekend I'll install it on my Dell laptop (Vista).

xp on my pc vista ultimate x64 on my laptop

gusto ko sana xp x64 kaso hirap drivers
mgnda x64 kasi utilized yung 64 bit architecture ng processor so mas optimized.

me plans ako na i vista 64 pc ko para 64-bit tapos i amd fusion ko in order na iclose nya lahat ng apps na nagpapabagal sa vista hehe okei na okei pang gaming.

pero tinatamad pa akong gawin yun

My Ubuntu 9.04 got toasted by one of the latest updates, can't find a fix.

So I'm using Vista exclusively on this laptop for now.

XP for almost all workstations at the office. Linux for my servers/gateways/firewalls (CentOS and RedHat and Endian).
