Saw these on a video online while doomscrolling:

    SSB477 | Seiko Watch Corporation
    SSB479 | Seiko Watch Corporation

Reference numbers are SSB 477 and SSB 479. I can imagine these would look really really good with calfskin rally straps.

classy and timeless design. I saw an authorized retailer in FB selling for 14,999. I'm tempted to pick one up though torn between the green and the black.

Ok din iyong orient counterpart niya. Solar powered pa. I think neo 70s collection ata tawag sa series na iyan. I might even prefer them over these Seikos...especially the gray one.

personally, i think seiko has better designs.

btw, the orient mako 40 (unofficial name) diver looks ok and is priced well.
a year ago, when it was first introduced, it had a unique factory "defect". i thought this defect would make for a good conversation piece, but when i went back after a week, hinatak na pala ni orient! the subsequent units had since been corrected.
    highs.

That's a really good price. I like the tritium look on the subdials for the black, which I think would look great with brown straps (and not just the usual black strap for a black dial watch)

my current interest are lighter watches that look... stainless. out with captain willards, hulks, and bigger seiko divers.

At that price point, it should be made more durable too.
