my current daily wear favorite is also the first watch i purchased, using my own earnings.
it's a "swiss army" quartz, purchased in the 90s.
i had to replace the crown, but everything else is original.
if my thoughts are correct, it's a victorinox, back when they didn't yet put their company name on the face.

pues, i chanced the blue version in watch depot, some months ago, for less than 7K.
bought it without hesitation.
after wearing it for some time... the bracelet sucks!
it's time to shopie. the bracelets there go for less than 500 bucks, naman. i actually purchased one for my GS. it works fine.
Thanks to a weaker yen and the usual rergence of the peso during the Xmas season (salamat sa ating mga OFW), these two are now a lot cheaper at a local department store here in Tokyo:
The above Casio was as high as ₱50k when it first came out. Price above is less than half that.
This is a 40mm Omega Speedmaster with a "reverse panda" dial in black and silver. Really gorgeous in person, priced about ₱160k.
It's not a moonwatch but it still is a good deal for a Pinoy looking for their first speedy.
Prices above are also subject to 10% tax discount for foreigners, which lowers the price even further.![]()
So I just got around e-mailing our country's official Casio dealer to ask if they had replacement straps available for my gd 350. Unfortunately, they don't have it on stock but they can order them from Tokyo asap. Ang problema it'll take at least 5 months daw for it to arrive here.
Baka patulan ko na Lang iyong mga online sellers sa shopee. I just hope it's true that what they're selling is the real stuff as they claim.

of course it's not the "real stuff" !
but if it fits, naman...
i recently ordered a replacement metal watch bracelet, as the AD said it would take 8 months.
well, the bracelet i received cost only 440 bucks, wasn't perfect but was decently made naman, and it actually fit the watch well enough.
I bought a "casio royale" and its corresponding stainless steel mod kit.
