JLC, Cartier, and Tag Heuer can get away with a square design because they have already made a name for themselves in horology. Kung Michael Kors or Fossil yan, lalangawin yan. Hehehe

Talking about Square watches, my wife is telling me she wants a Cartier Tank. I told her maybe next time after I get myself a Breitling Navitimer or a Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch or a Zenith El Primero. Hahahaha

LOL at MK, I've been given several as pasalubong from the US It's amazing how it costs P15k +/- here in Manila I think. I could buy the Orient Sun and Moon for that amount

Haha! I can only wish I bought them.

I promised myself to be more financially responsible regarding my hobby and will only do 1 piece a year (and avoid smaller purchases). I think I'll also dispose of around 5 inexpensive pieces in my collection on or before March.

Coming from a non watch person's perspective, why does the JLC look old? or are those in the photo pre owned? Dunno, but I am not a fan...

That's the Omega Speedmaster Reduced. Smaller than the Moonwatch and has an automatic movement.

Regarding the JLC, it's a design which hasn't changed since the 1930s. I kind of like them and maybe you'd have a different view after seeing it in person.

I am also eyeing the cartier santos. Just the SS model. Very elegant.

Kung di makapag decide, might as well go for a daytona. Yun nga lang, 2 years yung pila and i dont know which dial they will allocate to me. I like the panda though.
