the one i mentioned above... it's what the US DoD (Department of Defense) uses...
yeah they probably use Norton but the eEye solution is an IPS (Intrusion Prevention System). Totally different. I was just in the states for a security training and the guy conducting the training does trainings too for the Gov't.
in today's world... A/V software and proxy filtering isn't enough anymore.![]()
It's been a while..... Hmmm. eEye's personal's a free download from the US. I might try it if the free tools I'm using now or Cox Cable's Internet Security suite is compromised.
I knew that was coming sooner or later. I was just wondering who's thewho'll say it first.

Microsoft, NSA, several european security agencies and hacker communities rely on NOD32.
Kaspersky and Bitdefender suites have great malware and firewall features. the new zonealarm suite is showing tremendous potential especially since they have top notch firewall features and after they dropped the CA virus scanning engine and licensed the kaspersky engine.
Been using Zonealarm for a long time (since version 3). I tried to use Norton and Mcafee suite for awhile, but I went back to Zonealarm. I think it has good reviews right now at pcworld.
here's an interesting graph that compares most of the a/v vendors out there
btw... ESET is the maker of Nod32
prior to my arrival the company was using trend micro... boy was that a pain in the butt...
just look at how bad it performs.... well not as bad as panda.. :P
