I'm using NAV 2003 and Norton personal firewall at home, once or twice a month for the Live Update. Sophos naman sa office, auto-update sya everyday yata...:D

Guys, don't rely on AV alone. Regularly apply necessary security patches on your OS.

Also install some form of personal firewall if your computer directly connects to the Internet.

ISUX, ClamAV, Norton AV to name a few.... but it is always safe to be informed almost everyday.. do join some mailing lists about viruses ... apply patches asap and dont open attachment if you dont know kung kanino galing ..

Natanong ko lang, ang gamit ko kasi NAV 2004 updated din lagi but there are times that I see my email addy with malicious worms attached submitted to a couple of yahoo groups. And I do scan everyday.

Iniisip ko kung pano nakalusot yung mail worms kung lagi naman updated at malinis ang pc.

Hindi kaya minsan pumapalya rin ang mga anti-virus softwares?

gretzy...kakapangyari lang sakin niyan yesterday sa pc and laptop ko... got it reformatted just now..as in kakaalis lang nung friend kong magaling sa computer...astig nga eh....daming nakitang virus nung nag scan kami...

i use a tandalone virus scanner STINGER (from mcaffee yata) and norton systemworks....

galing nung stinger..pero you have to download it maliit lang naman siyang prograM...

Gretz, it's time to reformat your hard disk hehehe. Normally ang inaattack nyan eh yung svchost.exe. Tingnan mo CPU usage mo, pumapalo ng 100%.

Norton System works protects my comps so far... ok sya. Install also pop up blockers coz some virus pass thru there and if possible use online email services. Yun sa yahoo ko may isang group na nagka virus all members then they all send e-mail sa isa't-isa buti na lang may virus protection yun yahoo, blocked all attachments w/ was infected by the virus...

AVG because its free. All you have to do is update evryweek just to be sure. It works fine with me also because it does not take up too much precessing power unlike norton and other antivirus sw

Dun ko nga napansin, pero araw araw scanned ang pc and twice a week ako mag update manually. Kaya nagdududa tuloy ako sa mga AV softwares baka may nakakalusot.
