It seems the prices are significantly higher compared to U.S. prices. Even Hong Kong prices are cheaper and much closer to the U.S. prices.
So what are the supposed advantage(s) of buying from an Apple Reseller? Warranty? etc...???

I was supposed to buy an IPOD here in Manila but when I found out that Apple has international warranty I got mine from the US instead.
I guess it's for people who don't want the hassle of buying abroad?

Only for the hassle of not bringing it from abroad otherwise Apple honors international warranty...

Buying it in the local store saves you the hassle of buying a plane ticket and actually flying to another country just to buy an apple product.

that's the beauty of apple...

AFAIK, PowerMac Center has a technical service center. So international warranty means you can bring to their repair center, any apple products (still covered by warranty) for any repairs and the repair center would accept it, right????
