You can check sul!t.com website for ads on solar power systems. Price depends on the capacity you want.

To charge a cellphone and eneloop batteries, you need a system.

Solar panel + controller + battery. That's the basic system. But you need adapter for you to connect your phone and eneloop batts.

As we all know, batteries for storing solar power are usually rated 12volts.that will over load your phone. You need to lower it to 5 volts which is the standard for USB powered devices. Or you can do the opposite and use an inverter that will convert 12 volts to 220 or 110 volts. That's what our AC system uses. Yung "saksakan" with two prongs. Unless you have to, and the device you'll be charging needs 220, stay away from inverters as there is electricity loss by simply turning on your inverter even without connected devices.

So for your use, you need to use a 12 volt-to-5 volt converter.

As to what kind of battery you need to charge just a phone and or eneloop batts, even a SLAB (Sealed Lead Acid Battery) used for UPS will be enough. Yung parang size ng batt ng motor.

But there are different factors you need to consider. How many times will you use the system to charge your phone. How big is your solar panel? How much electricity can it produce? Your location and placement of the panel will greatly affect your capacity to produce electricity also. Do you live in a condo? What direction is your window facing? Access to rooftop? Will you get sunlight 12 hours a day? Or less?

Daming factors. If you want to charge other devices aside from your phone, you need to add more.

There is a computation for that. But basically simple lang. You want more electricity coming in than coming out/used. Efficiency is the name of the game.

Your idea of cashing it all out is not applicable here. Di ka pwede unutang sa sun. "cash basis" ang solar system. Input. Output. Hindi sya accrual

(teka, ikaw nga ba Kags ang madalas nagsasabi na cash out na and utang na lahat o si Mini? Either way both OB naman)

    Sana nakatulong.

Matagal doc. Depende rin sa market price ng equipment. And usage.

But as Moore's law dictates, pamura ng pamura na ang solar systems. Maybe not as masa today. But soon.

Depende rin as to what ROI you refer to. Most will consider only the cost. Others, mostly environmentalist will consider also the impact on environment vis-a-vis using traditional sources of electricity which mainly use coal or diesel generators.

There is an article today in PDI about the Diesel vs Solar electricity generation.

I have a small solar generator at home. For the price, naka ROI na ako. And during brown outs, our house remains brightly lit. If need be, can power AC devices. So I limit it to charging phones and emergency lights.

    remzam,

Meron medium (1,200pesos) and small (800).

San galing yung price?

Tsaka kalokohan yung pinakita sa link mo with the very small panel. Na portable daw? True portable systems hindi ganyan. Foldable or flexible panels na light weight. Yung sinabi nya sa dulo na portable, you don't want that. Battery pa lang nyan bigat na. Unless you go LiPho.

Dun sa plano mo for phone charging, rough estimate ko for your system mga 5k pataas.

Yung batteries used in solar generators, iba rin, ideally deep cycle. Mas matagal buhay and made for charging and recharging. Battery kasi natin sa kotse, parati puno yan. Deep cycle batteries are more expensive than regular ones.

    remzy,

Ito may nabasa ako online. Solar ba ito 18650 na powerbank?

That depends entirely on your charger, and how many batteries you'll be charging. It will likely be somewhere around 5-10W for a 4 cell charger. So you'll want at least that much power out of your solar setup. Double it, at least, to account for inefficiencies.

Or just use a small setup to charge a USB powerbank. Then use that to power your Eneloop charger. A 2-cell 18650 powerbank should be able to charge 4 Eneloops. I'd go with a 4-cell powerbank to be sure, though.

Yung mga solar power banks bago mo mapuno yun lagpas isang araw under heavy sunlight.

Mas novelty pa sya kesa efficient device.

    rem and vod

Ano maadvice nyo ok na brand na 4cell 18650 powerbank. (wala pa ako smartphone and slow ako sa pagkakaintiindi pag dating sa electronics ah so alalayan nyo ako.)

    Ano meaning nito USB-out?

"USB-out: 5V 1A only when plugged in (Not a powerbank feature!)"

"not powerbank" means the USB is dead if it's not plugged to the wall. doesn't work as a powerbank

this is my favorite powerbank by far. Miller ML-102. and as many 18650's as you can afford. 5-bar fuel gauge is convenient to read

Punta ka Raon dami dun solar set or sa HMR meron din medyo good quality, then bili ka ng LM7805 voltage regulator sa Deeco o Alexan then kabit mo sa 12V VRLA battery ng solar mo. Then buy ka online ng charge controller ng 18650 like this one https://shopee.ph/2Pcs-5V-1A-18650-T...iABEgIgQvD_BwE, voila! meron kana charger ng vape mo. You may now hug the tree..lol
