meron ako dati energy saving device na gawa ng isang filipino inventor natin dati yun design dati nun kasi is big and heavy(di ko alam kng ano laman nun) tapos nilalagay sa main switch. and whether you believe it or not it works--i save about 30% sa bill ko. ngayon i want to buy another one ksi may nakialam sa haus nun matagal na wala ako at ayun di ko na maibalik dami wiring kasi.

Thnx!

I don't believe in such things....kung totoo sila na pinakamyaman na tao sa mundo, walang pagkaiba yan doon sa inventor daw ng car na can run on water..imaging with the soaring oil price in world market eh di sana siya na ang pinakamayaman tao sa mundo...hehehehe

Actually, totoo yan. I have a friend (Tsikoteer) who's an Electrical Engineer and explained it to me how and why it works, pero di ko masyadong naintindihan eh! hehehe!

Yeah, those devices really work - but only when properly used! I mean dapat properly computed ang loads (including their power factor).

***This refers only to AC power systems:
Power distribution companies meter the apparent power (VA). Real power is what our appliances use (Watts). Most of our appliances are inductive loads. They consume Watts - and they have lagging power factor - meaning VA is always higher compared to Watts. By introducing a capacitive load (the energy saving device), power factor is then corrected.

Hindi daya yan, if you might think that way. You are actually making the power system more efficient.

...but then again, dapat properly computed and loads so that the proper power factor correction device is used.

i saw in one exhibit that i checked out, it's a device from Germany.nasa 2K yung price and the same thing, you have to connect it don sa main switch nyo.

Im using one for my ref and my aircon. yung sa ref may power savings, ang sa aircon, more on timer lang siya.
