So for the last couple of years I've been buying micro USB cables and USB-C cables around ₱100 to ₱500 each. And they would only last a couple of months, sometimes just a couple of weeks.
Maybe because they are unknown brands? Any brands you know that's reliable? There are cables out there that's almost ₱1k. I wonder if that will last longer or just couple of weeks only.
Please Re recommend a brand that can last for a long time.

November 20th, 2017 03:54 PM #4The cable that came with the Bavin 3-port charger that I bought around Christmas time last year is still working fine. It's the longest lasting cable I got considering it's used daily.

I'm using Tronsmart microUSB cables, matibay naman silang lahat. Cheap but high quality tapos may 3/5 pack pa. Sa lightning naman either DevilCase or UGreen, basta MFi certified.
Katakot yung Type C, nasira yung Chromebook ng isang Google Engineer dahil sa third party (OnePlus) Type C Cable na nabili niya. Parang hindi pa nila naperfect yung Type C standard.

November 20th, 2017 11:00 PM #8i got tronsmart type c. yup matibay sya pero bulky. hindi kasya since may phone case ako. i trimmed it to fit. problem naman is madali sya madetach. stopped using it and just used magnetic cables. very convenient. mura pa at 300 pesos (generic). Wsken brand is more durable at a higher price.
For microusb naman I use Anker and Aukey (cheaper version of Anker) but personally it's of the same quality.

I simply got a Samsung typeC-micro USB adapter. More flexible. You can borrow anyone's charger.

I usually buy the cheap P80-100 USB but it only lasts a few weeks. This is what I got from Amazon because it has good reviews:
