I'll be using this for a printer connected to my server located in another room. The cable would be around 12m.

There are powered USB extenders. I used one before to extend my webcam from the PC. It was five meters I think. I haven't tried to connect more than one extender.

Pero meron din bang hindi powered? Idadaan kasi sa taas ng ceiling yung cable, para hindi ko na problemahin ang outlet.

Option 1 - All active extenders: Two or three of these would be ideal. http://www.cdrking.com/local/product...076136-2709712

Option 2 - Mixed active and passive extenders: One or two of the above and one or two of these if you want to save a few bucks. http://www.cdrking.com/local/product...902268-9152212

Theoretically, you can have up to 5x 5-meter active extenders (to support devices approx. 25m away) per segment.

Up to how long can a USB cable be still useable?
