If you just want to watch TV... there is a tv tuner box that is installed between the computer and the monitor. Costs P2,100. Forgot the brand but I can post it later.

The TV can be displayed either full screen or picture in picture mode (1/4 or 1/16 sizes) at any location on the screen. It also comes with a remote control.

too bad, i just sold my leadtek winfast xp2000 for 800 pesos. posted it over at tipidpc, sold within a week. leadtek is ok though it is internal.

I am not sure most Tv tuner card could capture high res. but my 1,000 petot 6 year old card cannot go HDTV reso. you might want to check it's video capturing capabilities. even new video inputs like hdmi perhaps?
