tried to contact the guy and he said we would just meet
somewhere convenient for the both of us to see the unit..
think he called it "internet selling." any tsikoteers who have
tried these gadgets? dunno if this guy's for real. i smell something fishy

don't have the budget for branded digicams like pentax, kodak, canon, sony, etc. etc. will only use it for amateur photography..

i have tried using a low end dgcam before but ended up selling it after 2 months dahil ang panget ng res.

how much is he asking for the unit? what are the specs of the cam?

internet selling is ok, i have been to some of those deals before. just make sure you meet in a secured place and magsama ka ng tao with you for security reasons.

yep, go for branded digicams. you can get branded digicams sa Hidalgo sa Quiapo P2k less than price niya sa malls. Kasi yung sa malls, galing sa exclusive local distributor. Unlike yung sa Quiapo, imported talaga from HK, Singapore, etc. so in short wala middleman.

    sir,
i think these are taiwan brand stuff. coz i have some of them. yung quick disk usb drive and yung orite na digicam.
    yung quick disk is A-OK.
Yung orite nalaglag sa loob ng bag basag ang screen. parang ordinary camera na ang dating nya. I initially bought it to serve as a webcam so yun na nga lang talaga purpose nya ngayon.

    compare mo na lang quality.
my busted speakers taken with orite 2 megapixel digicam, focus done with the peephole, hehe

taken with a 3 megapixel sony digicam sa low light basement parking

if you're on a budget, they're ok naman. check around na lang if the prices are ok.

hmmmm smokepipe sounds suspiciously like .....

Pareng benchph1, you can always buy 2nd hand. Actually i just sold off my Casio Exilim Z3 to get an Exilim Z4. Kaunti lang naman ang talo. If i wait too long to sell my current stuff, malaki mawawala coz of depreciation. Gonna get my Z4 once my 13th month kicks in.

yup don't rush in buying....technology changes quick....just buy one level of technology less and the savings is sometimes half (and it's even brandnew).

Kung amateur photog lang naman....why not the kodak models which would fit your budget?

i agree with wildthing. why not try kodak? kodak digicams are cheap nowadays. and u're assured of good quality from a good brand.

are these digicams/gadgets worth it
