Tsikot PLDT pop-ad plays sound even when tab is closed

So this is getting annoying.
Sound clip randomly playing when firefox is open.
I only realized it is the sound from the PLDT Home FIBR pop-ad from tsikot website.
But then I observed that even if I already exited or closed all tsikot tabs, the sound still plays randomly as long as my browser is open.

I already scanned my desktop using superantispyware but the problem persists.

I have the same popup ad that occupies 25% of my screen. It's a good thing I don't browse Tsikot using my office PC. Que horror!

Are these new ads HTML5? Very popular with many sites nowadays. I wouldn't mind, but my bandwidth is incredibly low, so loading them each and every time I open a new tab... or... after the recent fix... every fourth tab... slows down my browser a lot.

Thank you sa Tsikot PLDT pop-ads kasi naginstall na ako sa wakas ng AdBlock kaya wala na ding ads sa Youtube and Redtube.

when i use the older computer in the office, i do get assaulted no end with these ads.
but at home, using my newer computer, it's just... gone.
i am not computer savvy, so i do not know what my new computer has that the older one does not have..

Install Adblock Plus (https://adblockplus.org/).

I also block ads on my firewall at home so that other devices that doesn't support Adblock won't get pestered with ads. The only problem is, when I'm mobile (3G/LTE) or connected to some other network, ads gets through Safari for iOS.

tsikot.com organizers should balance their ad income potential with user inconvenience. It seems like the ad company or even tsikot admins wants us to 'accidentally' click on the pop-up ads for more income. That's probably the reason why they made it VERY conspicuous and intrusive.

EDIT: Adblock Plus for iOS Safari is available na pala.... and IT WORKS!
