Bro.- I would recommend that you use a regular AC unit, whether split type or window type and set the thermostat at a slightly higher level than the central AC. In the morning, your AC unit will not engage its compressor, because the temp in the room will be lower than the trigger point. However, once the central AC is turned off, your AC's compressor will turn on....
Another thing is to set a timer, such that your AC unit will turn-on/off at predetermined hours.....
