    Hehehe tama si Jut, false rumor. Even CNN and Philstar made a big news about it. It would have been good though. New jobs and maybe better services.

    Walang kwenta 50mbps ng PLDT. Hindi kaya magtuloy tuloy manood ng youtube, walang difference sa browsing speed. Pero sa t0rr3nts downloading mabilis talaga.

    Walang backbone ang SMC, yan problem nila. That is ahuge investment in itself na for sure pinag-iisipan mabuti ni Telstra is they can recover it in an acceptable duration. ROI pinag-uusapan dyan.

    Personally, parang SMC anouncement lang yan na new airport. Wala din nangyari.

    Sorry guys, duopoly pa din talaga sa Pinas. Si Sun Cell kasi nagpabili pa eh hehehe...

    just got a call from pldt this afternoon. offering na i upgrade current plan to 10x speed without extra cost. ang catch is 1year ka ulit na bond sa kanila. i got the offer since wala pa naman linaw yang telstra and if ever matuloy yan, it would take time. hopefully gumanda services ng pldt at globe.

    I think minimum lock in period is 2 years. Not sure about 10x offer though which is too good to be true...

    Every time na tumatawag pldt saken lagi nalang may binebenta. Like nung 99 pesos a month na CCTV camera, or 2000pesos na tablet.

    Sana offeran rin ako ng ganyan :D

    Plan 1299 is 2 mbps + free landline right? So you mean magiging 20 mbps yung internet speed mo? I kinda doubt that. If PLDT is now able to offer that level of broadband speed, dapat all over the news na yan.

    Kaya na mag implement ng pldt ng mabilis as per my experience sa Ulterra offering nila... ang catch... 1GB data cap per day....

    Maybe for selected areas lang? Yung CIR ba tinaasan or same lang? ISPs like to shock you with the maximum/burstable rate, but typically the CIR is quite low

    Plus I don't think they will just give it as a free upgrade.

    Maybe for the existing high speed customers na meron ng 8mbps or more plan but For the lower plans I don't think so.
