Telescope

Good morning Tsikoteers,

Saan po kaya makakabili ng Telescope locally? Yung para sa mga astronomy enthusiasts/students.What brand po kaya ang maganda and yet reasonably priced? My 13 yr old son is requesting one for his birthday.

Sa Hann Manila. Mayron din sa ebay.ph ((here).

If you can go to SM North (West), there's a shop at the 2/F (beside Concorde) that sells astronomical 'scopes. Price range: between 2.5K-10K (depending on the size of the 'scope).

Sa Mall of Asia may nakita rin ako, around 4-6k yata yun. For kids.

Kung gusto mo ng medyo mas high end sa Hahn meron rin.

Last year ganito nabili ko for 13k

Medyo nahirapan ako gamitin, cguro dahil na rin sa nde masyado clear yung sky here in metro manila, the moon looks awesome though through a telescope.

That's what I'm thinking. He he he . . . When I was about his age, I was also looking for a telescope.

san ba gagamitin yang telescope?

kung pang sightseeing dapat refracting telescope, hanggang moon lang ang kayang makita nito. kung astronomy, reflecting telescope dapat, mas wider ang lense at malaki ang sakop pang night sky talaga. malaki ang difference nito.

but actually, some refracting telescopes have the ability to see planets kaso blurred kasi smaller ang lens.
i hope it's not too late. tanungin mo anak mo kung ano hilig niya, sightseeing or astronomy, hehe, baka masayang ang pera.

dati gusto ko din magkaron nyan, lalo na nung napanood ko yun isang movie kung gano naging cool yun guy for owning a telescope after he invited a girl in his house.

pero ngaun, i'm quite convinced that chicks dont dig that. nerdy girls puwede pa.
