We have a couple of printers at home. One is an HP Officejet 4620. Ink drying up isn't a problem and we're in a very dry environment. It handles wireless print tasks easily whether it's on a PC, Mac, or Android/iOS devices.

We have Brothers 3n1 before really durable we just misused it and no maintainance done still it lasts for like 5 years.. the canon and HP we have the cheap model so its just fair we get what we paid for, it never last that long.. now at home we are using the Epson 3n1 with external ink tanks not sure about the model but its 2years na and really super tipid sa ink usage..

An HP ink that costs about 385-400+ will print about 400-500 pages ... an ink tank system of Canon or Epson will cost 250-295 can print about 4000-5000 pages ... so the Canon G2000 or Epson L220 will be a better value in the long run ...

there are some models that are already "modified" by third parties, to accept ink tanks. canon and brother yata... they are seen in some ink refiller stalls.

we do very few printings. we still make do with the ancient HP 1300 series. mahirap nang makahanap ng oem ink cartridges, so we make do with refills.

How's photo printing with brother? We've had epsons for the longest time and the current one's konking out so i'm looking to replace it with brother if the photo printing is passable. Not looking for exceptional photo quality. Good enough is good enough basta wag lang crappy at sablay talaga ang kulay ng output. Any help would be appreciated!
