Atarizero, sorry to hear about your bricked PSP. Baka pwede mo ipa-repair ung console sa Sony? After its repaired, you can try downgrading to 3.03 OEC again.

Highly impractical. Sony charges an arm and a leg for even minor repairs. How much more for replacing a motherboard? Only cheap alternative is if someone would sell me their motherboard for cheap and I'd make the repairs myself. OR if I'd sell my bricked PSP for parts and buy another one.
BTW, if anybody wants to buy my PSP for parts, I'd gladly sell it... For a decent price. All accessories plus GTA: liberty city stories and 1gb memstick included. PM me or text 09174932750
sir atariZero, ano ginawa niyo bakit nagbrick psp niyo? para maiwasan ko gawin.. ty
Black out kase while I was flashing to 3.03 oec. Fluke lang, so I'm sure you won't get the same problem. Just make sure your battery life is at 100% and you plug it in to your charger before you do any upgrading or flashing of your motherboard. As for me, bad luck lang talaga yun...![]()
It is best to have a UPS to prevent bricking while flashing your PSP or any other device.
For example, it is highly recommended that you should generate your own .dxar files instead of using the ones available sa internet coz they might not be compatible when flashed to your console. Or if you flash your PSP with a corrupted topmenu_plugin.rco file, then your console wont boot-up. But if youre running w/ 3.03 OE-A/B/C there is a recovery menu where you can re-flash your PSP with the correct version of the file or revert back to 1.5 then upgrade to 3.03 OE again.
But the files are not in ISO format. Meron syang subfolder na \PSP\GAME then ang files na laman is EBOOT.PBP and KEYS.BIN. How can I convert this to ISO?
I use devhook kasi to load ISO games. Can I also just copy these folders and files into the memstick? And in which folder in the memstick will I copy these files?

It's out, folks! Dark_AleX has finally released the latest in his series of Open Edition firmware - the much-awaited 3.30 Open Edition Rev A! This is serious cause for celebration especially after days of waiting for DaX to finally give word on what's up with his work (and what's up with his PSP).
3.30 OE-A retains all of the original Sony 3.30 FW functions - PSOne game library support, Internet navigator, etc. - but because Dark_AleX is THE man, he's added a lot of features and changes to his latest custom FW (some taken from PSPGen's release notes).
* Homebrew support under either 1.50 or 3.30 kernel
* Region spoofing
* Patched a protection that prevents the FW to load higher firmware modules
* Fixed a bug that could have caused instability in 3.10 OE after recovering from sleep mode
* Recovery Mode
* Direct launching of PSOne games (converted with PSP format)
* Direct launching of demos and homebrews
* Possibility of regulating hte speed of the PSP's processor
* Direct launching of ISOs/CSOs
DAX says this doesn't support popsloader at the moment due to "Sony rearranging again the module list of pspbtcnf_pops", but rest assured that the great dev will be making a new version that will support all current pops in 3.10 OE, 3.30 OE and maybe 3.03 OE-C. The dev also tried testing the customization of icons, but that didn't work out.
For the full installation guide, please go over the Readme. It's there for a reason. We know you're all excited about the 3.30 OE-A but be mindful of what you're doing. Take caution. This can only be installed to PSPs with firmwares 1.50, 2.71 SE, 3.02 OE, 3.03 OE, or 3.10 OE. Downgrade first if your PSP has a different FW. 3.30 OE-A cannot be installed to PSPs with FW 3.10, 3.11, or 3.30.
