Browsing on a PSP can be slow sometimes. For me, it's acceptable enough. But, it's a pain the first time around when you have nothing saved in your Favorites yet.
Also, replying to posts is a pain*. Browsing on a PSP is best if all you do is browse like reading a newspaper.

*StraightSix: I noticed you have that adware in your Tsikot forum. It's on my Mac Mini as well with both Safari and Firefox plus the Linux pc. But, it's not on any of my Windows pc's.
*Inputting text on a browser sucks on the PSP unless I'm missing something. It's been a while since I updated the firmware.

OT: I tried to remove it earlier, with no luck. I google'd about the adware ContentLink and found that it's web publisher-based (Hi admin's!).
I've found a quick fix for IE. Go to IE's Internet Options, select Security Tab, Restricted Sites settings and then add *.kontera.com to the list. No more ContentLink ads from kontera.com.

BTW, I wonder if other owners know that the PSP can also be used for GPS navigation. The release from Sony comes in a package consisting of the PSP-290 plug-in GPS receiver and the Go! Explore navigation software. It's kinda expensive though compared to other satnav systems. A cheaper way is to get a compatible Holux receiver and use the free MapThis software.

anybody here that knows how to convert ps1 and ps2 disks to iso/cso files? para malagay ko sa mem stick
thanks
Actually my teenage son was using the PSP to browse the internet and he upgraded the firmware, without realizing its effect on the PSP unit.... With this action, the games in the flash memory(iso/cso) cannot be played after that....
It's a good thing that a shop in Ortigas area was able to downgrade the software back as a regular pandora battery cannot get the job done. Whew! We were client #1 as my son downgraded the latest version of the firmware.....

Balak ko din bumili ng PSP for my personal use lang... Tanong, most of the shops offer 4GB memory stick is that big enough to store handful of games say mga 10 at least? Kano kalaki ba ang isang PSP game?
Atsaka where do you get the games? Alam ko you download it...
My sons' PSPs have 4GB of memory each and so far they have not complained. I just maintain all the games in 8-10 DVDs that they can download anytime.
Also, they download MP3s and movies that they can convert to PSP format....

cheapest natanong ko na 4gb CLASS A is 800 sa v-mall. yung 8 gb na class a sabi sa pinoypsx may compatibility issues. kung 8gb daw gusto better look for an original or original sandisk(cheaper daw)
Both PSP and iPods use the same mp4 format. I play on my PSP the same movies I encoded for my daughter's video iPod Nano.
mapapa CFW pa ba ang PSP na naka latest official firmware? balak ko kasing bumili dito sa US.
and ano ba ang basics ng pagpapa CFW? iba iba bang procedures ang gagawin para mapa CFW ang PSP mo? Depende ba ito (referring to the procedures on how to CFW) sa current official firmware ng PSP na bibilhin mo?
Try this www.psphacks.com
Daming tutorials syan. Ang alam ko maskin latest Sony firmware pwede lagyan ng CFW pero kung di ka kumpyansa gumawa pag ako sayo dito ka na lang bumili since may CFW na pagkabili pa lang...
