Almost all manufacturers of digicams have cases of LCD failure.

Hear, hear... our D70 has developed the maddening habit of displaying images in 16 colors on its LCD... of course, the top of the camera is melted from the heat of the house fire we recovered it from, and it was soaked by the firemen who responded... but it still works... and the images still look good (in full color) when transferred to the PC...

i own a sony cybershot buti hindi kasama yung akin sa may problema at defects..

Uy buti inamin!!

Ung Canon PS A70 ko dati, dang tagal sa kanila. Halos 3/months. Nag re-search ako sa net. And found out na nde lang pala ako may problem.

After a week, pinalitan nila nang bagong A510. Then a week after, they offered free repairs sa CCD problems nang mga cams/vids nila.

Sabi ko na lang, uy na swerte pa. Tama, dapat aminin. Kse sira na nga ung binili mo na sobrang ingat na ingat. Tapos sasabihin pa sayo minsan na, wala silang problem sa mga camera na yan.

Kudos to Sony and Canon! Sana tuloy tuloy lang yan.

My A80 is with Canon right now for CCD replacement. November last year ko pa napansin na may sira. Initially I thought na di kasama ang A80 dahil last na nabasa ko sa recall hanggang A70 lang ang affected. Anyway I hope they get it fixed. I should be getting it back first week of March.

In the meantime, my wife bought a Canon A430 so we won't miss any of our sons' antics
