I gave my wife a k880i as anniv gift. Downloading themes, games, news updates, set-up, wallpapers, ringtones, mp3s are so easy. Oks na oks pa ang audio for a small phone like it. The cybershot 3.2mp is one to reckon with as well. How I wished I bought myself the same. Sa kin moto v3x.

Sir Wild thing, ur right heres the new model, the fifth gen of P-series.

    SE P1

    May 9, 2007
Sony Ericsson P1: New UIQ 3-based smartphone unveiled

Announced on May 8, 2007, the new Sony Ericsson P1 is slim, UMTS smartphone offering a rich feature list including a 3.2 Megapixel camera, QVGA touchscreen, dual-function keypad, WiFi, VoIP support and secure push email.

This fifth-generation P-series smartphone builds on the best attributes of its predecessors, yet offers major differences including a new approach to design, RAM size and battery performance.

RAM size is doubled from 64MB in the P990 to 128MB in the P1 with the user RAM for applications increased by 400%, significantly improving multitasking performance and application behavior. Storage capacity is also significantly increased. The P1 has 256MB Flash and 160MB User free memory and uses Memory Stick Micro (M2) for extendable, removable memory.

As the P1 includes integrated WLAN, developers can use the WLAN API to create applications using WiFi connectivity. And gaming is given a boost with hardware accelerated 3D graphics, supported natively (C++) using OpenGL ES and by JSR 184.

The Sony Ericsson P1 will be available in selected markets from Q3 2007.

I think stick na lang din ako sa P990i,stable naman na firmware. saka ok na price ng P990i, di na ganun kasakit.

But a 3.2mp cam phone..da best! all in one! Sure mahal nanaman yan P1... pero dami pa rin bibili. Tapos bigla ulit bagsak price.

Ganyan kahirap ang buhay sa Pinas!:naughty2:

Mukhang maganda yang SE P1 ah. at 3.2megapix, i'm sure marami bibili niyan especially it's a PDA phone. Siguro sa price nalang magkakatalo. I'm contemplating on buying the NOKIA N95. 5megapix and a GPS phone would surely be the top plus in my mind. Price lang talaga problem.

About sa SE phone, wala ako masabi. I've been using SE eversince and wala ako masabi sa picture quality nila. Compared to Nokia phones, malayo quality nila pagdating sa video and audio. Comparing the old K750i(2Q2005) vs Nokia 6288(3Q 2006), no match ang 6288. Heres why:

    6288 cons:
    -No Flash light
-Flash is dim and hard to operate.
-Eventhough it is also a 2megapix camera, malayo picture quality niya compared to antique SEK750i.
-No lens cover and body is prone to scratches.
    -Slider, so mas prone masira.
-You can't put silicone casing. Of course it's a slider phone. :D
-You can't operate nigh mode with flash on in taking still pictures.
-You can't open flash on while using video mode.
-Mas hi-fi dating ng tunog ng SEk750i kasi may "megabass" TM.
-Mahirap mag text kasi tumatama yung thumb mo sa top slider.
-Mas matagal battery life ng SEK750i. I don't know why, maybe because of the big screen.

    Pros:

    -mas malaki yung screen niya.
-mas madami abubot na functions but user friendly.
    -mas maganda dating.
-mas madami ka mag dodownload na softwares.
-mahirap buksan ang likod(changing sim or battery)
    -faster shutter speed.

Summary: Kahit antigo na ang K750i, compare it with other newer Nokia phones around, mas magaling pa din siya, in fact, I much prefer the SEK750i than my K800i. Wala kasi nightmode yung K800i pag video and you can't control the flashlight mode plus madali ma gasgas yung lens cover ng K800i kasi nakaumbok sa likod.

    Yun lang po.

wala naman, medyo mabagal ksi dati old version firmware. kanina dpat bili n ko P990i, but hanggang sa mall hesitant pa rin ako. di ko alam kung bakit. cguro sa size nya, too bulky. so is the price still at 17.5K dont know sa iba.

bumili tuloy ako ng ibang unit, for my wife namn.actually its a trial unit. No brand "china made unit". halos namn n lahat china.model name nya P168,ok namn sya, a PDA fone, not bad for 9,500.market price is 11K,nakuha sa tingin. kanina ko pa pinag lalaruan, satisfied naman ako.

    Specs:
    dual cam
    not a dual sim
    mp3/mpeg4
    lakas speaker
256 internal / expandable to 1 gag hehe (di ko pa ksi na try 1gig)
    slim type
large screen : touch screen / stylus
    blutooth
    headset
    xtra battery
5MP cam: pero ok na din
