anyone here knows how to usb stream the mini dv cam to pc properly?
ive followed the installation instructions, installed and reinstalled but i just couldnt get it to work...
once connected the lcd on the cam flashes USB mode but it seems that my pc couldnt detect the cam
what seems to be the prob...
anyone encountered this prob?

seriously, (although serious din ako sa sinabi ko), hindi kaya putol ang wire ng usb cable mo? dapat detected agad yan, especially winxp OS mo. have you tried firewire cable?Signature

keyboard ko gumagana din usb din po nakakabit
version 2.0??? paano ko malalaman yun
walang kasamang firewire ang cam... optional yung cable na yun e... mga magkano ba yung ganung cable? yun ang d ko pa na try

btw pc105e din ba gamit mo?
tingin ko di naman putol dahil nakikita ng camera ang pc....lumalabas sa lcd pag plug ko sa pc yun cam "USB MODE"

January 24th, 2004 01:08 PM #13i just got a camcorder that supports video streaming as well (sony din)... as soon as i figure it out... i'll let you know... when I tried playing around with capturing video and stills... I had to select which setting I wanted first...
i.e.
If I want to get stills or mpg from the camera (using the USB 2.0 Cable)... I had to switch to the MEMORY setting first... When I had to capture video (using a Firewire cable)... I had to switch to VCR mode then start capturing...
I guess... if you wanna use video streaming... you'd have to use the MEMORY Setting... and use the USB cable to capture the live stream... not totally sure... but i'll find out for you ASAP

January 24th, 2004 11:23 PM #15yung canon camcorder ko, kapag sa usb ko kinonnect, yung laman lang ng memory card ang pwede ma-access. kelangan ko ng firewire para ma-access yung video na stored sa miniDV tape.

January 25th, 2004 10:59 PM #17yun nga ,,,kaya lang pag open ko yung software na image transfer ng sony ay may menu na select copy source pag click ko sya wala naman lumalabas na copy source kahit naka kapit na ang cam.
di kaya dahil athlon ang processor ko and intel pentium ang nakalagay sa manual? may kinalaman ba yon?

January 25th, 2004 11:27 PM #18wala naman sigurong kinalaman ang processor, as long as gumagana ang recommended OS ng camcorder mo dun.
kahit ba once hindi mo napa-detect yung videocam mo sa PC mo? try mo kaya sa ibang PC? kung di pa rin pwede, siguradong me problem ang cable mo.Signature

January 26th, 2004 02:45 PM #20yung sa friend ko sony din, di ko lang alam which model. pwede mag transfer ng video through usb, pero madilim, mas maliwanag pa kung gamitin nya video out ng camcorder papuntang video capture card ng pc nya.
