The top part of my Note 5's glass screen cracked when my phone fell down face first.
8.2k to have it replaced in Samsung. Current value of the phone is just 13k so probably not worth having it replaced.
I checked out the Note 8 but it has become way too long for comfortable use. Looks like I'll have to wait for the S9 for the Note 8's dual camera to trickle down to a smaller, more handy package.
In the meantime, I can't really decide what to do with my phone. It's still completely functional but the crack is very aesthetically displeasing.

My Note 8 slipped twice already from the car magnet holder as I placed he metal piece under the case which is slippery. The 2nd time it broke the tempered glass screen protector. If the Note5 is still functioning, then just go for the replacement screen.

Had the glass replaced in Greenhills for 2.7k. Home button now feels weird but otherwise, pretty solid repair job.

Wow. It's only been 4 hours and my replacement screen has cracked again. Didn't even drop it.

Exactly! It’s an exciting time — more affordable and practical EVs are definitely on the way.
