Anybody tried bubble-wrapping an LCD and checking it in sa airport?

pag door to door ung mga dhl from malysia to RP may tax naRM1140 ang 32" na lcd at RM1500 ang 40" in lcd! very tempting pa naman prices ng lcd dito almost half jan satin!

Hindi po effective ang pagba-bubble-wrap lang ng LCD monitor, kasi pag naipit po yun ay may pressure pa rin sa screen that will/can cause dead pixels. Dapat talaga ay yung styro na frame na naghohold doon sa LCD ang support niya THEN yung bubble wrap.

kung hard case naman suitcase nyo.. pwede na yang bubble wrap.. basta wag aalog sa loob.. ganyan lang ginawa namin.. wala namang nasirang LCD..

I have brought one 17" Philips LCD before from Singapore. Ginawa ko, aside from the styrofoam na nasa box, nilagyan ko pa ng towel in between the open spaces inside nung box. Okay naman, wala namang nangyari sa LCD. Wala ring siningil na tax sa akin sa NAIA. Dahil siguro OFW ako at one unit lang dala ko.

How much ba yung Ferrari Acer 19" (wide screen) sa Pinas? Ganda eh, makintab na black & red ang kulay.

bro mag Acer 19" ka nalang, less than 13k and faster refresh pa * 5ms vs. dyan sa Qube na 8ms. 1440x900 resolution and widescreen pa. mas may brandname pa Acer and with 3 years warranty to boot. compared sa LG or Samsung 19inchers ang layo ng presyo. pero nagkakaubusan na kasi ewan ko kung meron pa kaya inquire ka na sa mga shops.
