    That is old news and it appears to only apply to the NA market. I don't believe I've seen or heard a pip about them failing in the local market.

    We have an inverter LG ref from early 2017. It is well passed its warranty and still kicking.

    not sure if LG's “linear compressor” is available here. but it the part thats failing.
