hindi sya na uupgrade (atleast hindi pa pwede sa ngayon) so hindi ka makakapag laro ng games thru MEm Stick or ISO and CSO games...mapipilitan ka bumili ng UMD games na pagkamahal mahal...

Get the latest version 5.00 M33-3. That's what my kid has. Downloadable, wifi, and can play .cso game formats.

FYI the latest firmware is now 5.00 M33-6 (incidentally I just upgraded it myself yesterday). Currently playing Star Ocean: Second Evolution.

PSP 3000 has the TA08-V3 motherboard which are currently pandora proof. So hindi pedeng magconvert to custom firmware(CFW - 5.00 M33-6 - ito na po yung latest firmware). So kung hindi po CFW ang PSP mo di pedeng makalaro ng downloaded games (ISO/CSO).

It was slightly brighter. To be honest for me I will forego the brighter LCD for the ability to play cheap (wink wink) games...

maganda lang ang packaging ng PSP 3000 saka yung Home button logo na ng PSP or sony playstation, and the sad truth e tumaas ang presyo ng PSP 2000 gawa ng hindi pa kaya i upgrade ang PSP 3000..saka maliit din ang kahon nya

Yep yung market value ng PSP 2000 is red hot kasi yung 3000 hindi pwede maglaro ng "pirated games". Syempre Sony does not produce 2000's anymore. So yung mga meron na lang nasa 2nd hand market na...

i almost got a massive debate sa isang engot na salesman na yun dahil lang sa promo nilang bullcrap. mas mahal ba naman yung box na pacakage ng sony mismo (w/ umd) kumpara sa package ng sony (w/out umd) with package nila!? eh yung package lang naman ng sony habol namin, the hell do we care sa products nila tapos nagmamagaling lalo na sa salestalk eh sablay naman!

to make what boknoytm said short at easier to learn, meron po yung 3000 na internal parts na hindi (pa siguro) kayang imodify ng mga crackers/hackers para yung games (kahit ano) eh drag and drop then play na lang.
kasi ang psp since then para makalaro is kailangan pa bumili bala (UMD) parang gameboy, isang bala = 1 game which is magastos. nagawan nila yun ng paraan by pasting games na lang sa memory stick instead of using UMDs at nagkaroon ng freedom at malaking savings ang mga users dahil doon kaya tumaas bentahan ng psp naman. wait! napahaba ko pala hindi ko napaikli ano ba yan. sorry sorry!
basta, 3000 is not advisable at this moment. di ko rin naman binili psp ko just to play outside at masikatan ng araw or any light, malamang sa dilim ako at sa may silong usually pa nga indoors eh kaya we find it useless ang bright lcd narin. the mic? no we never do online games with voice chat features. madalas sama sama kami sa isang location to play altogether kasi mas masaya yun than playing online sa malalayo through the use of the net

If I were you, I'd wait for a while until they find a workaround on the 3000. It should be just a matter of time only. Else, I'd still keep my 2000 for now....

I have a 1st gen PSP which I use mainly as a media device. Nowadays, the iPod Touch has it beat in just about all categories. The iPod Touch even has some decent games for it. So, if I were to choose between a PSP and iPod Touch..... It'll be the latter for me. Of course, my PSP's still a good media device. So, I'm hanging on to it.

P10K is not cheap by the way for a PSP. I got my 2000 back February 2008 for P8K and change brand new in Greenhills already customized to play ISO/CSO games and it also included a 4GB memory stick (Class A), a headphone, and a crystal case and of course unlimited games. Check out EYO in V-mall.

a big NO sir. papaasahin lang kayo niyan. what a salestalk.. sablay nanaman. di magiging sablay salestalk niya sa inyo kung sure siya na eh saglit na araw lang eh mamomodify nga 3000. yung mga guinea pigs na 3000 hanggang ngayon la pa rin results na maganda e.. meron nagbebenta dito sa alabang festival which i could remember nasa 8k something lang. i cant remember exactly pero line of 8k lan talaga. basta sir ako a big NO
